Responsibilities
•Audit N26 SE business activities and processes, including outsourced activities, at appropriate intervals, generally within three years
•Collaborate with other audit teams and manage joint audits
•Coordinate Business internal audit activities of N26 SE and N26 Bank SE, including external contractors, in consultation with Audit Management
•Create and annually update a comprehensive, risk-oriented audit plan
•Communicate Business audit results to operational units and prepare and review written audit reports
•Support audit management and monitor whether audit findings are remedied within specified timeframes
•Participate in key projects while maintaining independence and avoiding conflicts of interest
•Stay informed about Management Board instructions, decisions, and material amendments to the risk management system relevant to the audit function
Requirements
•Successfully completed degree in business, law, or a related field
•At least 10 years of experience as an Internal Auditor or in a Compliance role involving audit and compliance work at an international company in a regulated environment
•Strong process understanding
•Profound knowledge of online banking and retail products
•Very good understanding of banking laws and requirements
•Willingness to learn local banking laws, standard banking requirements, and banking IT systems
•Fluent spoken and written English and German
