Responsibilities
•Take technical responsibility for designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-based backend services in an agile environment
•Support the end-to-end development process, from conception and implementation through operation
•Help shape system and software architecture and use and advance technologies in cloud infrastructure, event-driven architectures, and serverless computing
•Continuously improve and scale systems and processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams
•Contribute to frontend tasks and participate in the full-stack lifecycle
•Contribute to financial topics including digital wealth management, automated investment strategies, and modern banking and payment solutions
Requirements
•Completed IT degree or comparable qualification, combined with several years of backend development experience; career changers with relevant experience are also welcome
•Backend development experience with Go or comparable programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, C++, C#, Python, Rust, or Swift
•Experience with AWS cloud technologies
•Familiarity with event-driven architectures such as Kafka, SNS, and SQS, and modern cloud-based database systems such as DynamoDB and SQL/NoSQL
•Willingness to support the full process from development through operation, with a DevOps mindset
•Enjoy working in an agile team and an interest in new technologies, continuous development, and contributing to technical decisions
•Curiosity beyond one's own area and openness to new topics
•Curiosity and openness toward AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding workflows such as Claude Code
•Fluent German and English, spoken and written
•High ownership, good communication, and teamwork skills
