Its Network Solutions team engineers and maintains networking products, including load balancing, switching, firewalls, VPN, VPC, and GPF, to connect and protect customers' infrastructure.
Responsibilities
•Own frontend features end to end within the Network Solutions domain
•Take work from specification through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing production support for interfaces used to manage networking products and services
•Build and maintain modern web interfaces and reliable, maintainable, performant frontend applications using React or Vue
•Translate product and technical requirements into clear frontend solutions; clarify expected behavior, edge cases, dependencies, and user flows before implementation
•Create intuitive interfaces that make complex networking functionality, including load balancing, firewalls, VPN, and VPC, understandable and manageable
•Work closely with backend and platform engineers to integrate applications with APIs and underlying services, identify dependencies, and resolve interface or data issues
•Use AI-assisted engineering tools daily to support implementation and review, critically validate generated code, and remain accountable for the final result
•Verify changes with evidence by writing automated tests, validating user flows and failure scenarios, and ensuring changes are production-ready before deployment
•Review other engineers' frontend code and technical changes; identify risks related to design, maintainability, performance, accessibility, and reliability, and provide actionable feedback
•Work safely in existing and unfamiliar codebases, make incremental improvements without unnecessary rewrites, and leave code better tested and documented
•Participate in production support, investigate frontend-related incidents, and ensure issues lead to meaningful improvements
•Mentor other engineers, share frontend engineering practices, explain design decisions, and support less experienced engineers through implementation and review
•Coordinate dependencies with engineers and stakeholders to align frontend changes with backend, infrastructure, and product requirements
•Stay close to production, run the AI harness daily, read code written by others, and keep technical judgment current
•Understand the customer and business value of the work and raise questions early to avoid building the wrong solution
•Take a turn in the on-call rotation and communicate delivery risks and timelines in writing and early, with evidence
Requirements
•5+ years of experience in frontend software engineering and production applications
•5+ years of experience with React or Vue
•Strong experience building and maintaining complex web applications
•Strong understanding of modern JavaScript or TypeScript, component-based architecture, state management, and frontend application design
•Experience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services
•Experience writing automated frontend tests and validating production changes before deployment
•Strong understanding of performance, usability, accessibility, and maintainability in web applications
•Ability to work effectively in existing or unfamiliar codebases and troubleshoot across frontend and backend boundaries
•Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools in day-to-day development
•Clear written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team across multiple time zones
