We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Developer (ReactJS / NextJS) to join a new international Tech Hub in Lisbon, focused on the development, maintenance and optimization of modern, scalable and high-performance web applications.
Responsibilities
•Development, maintenance and optimization of modern, scalable and high-performance web applications.
Requirements
•Minimum 5 years of professional experience with modern frontend technologies
•Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining web applications using ReactJS / NextJS
•Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript and JavaScript, including responsive web design
•Experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architectures
•Solid understanding of REST APIs and their integration with frontend applications
•Experience with NodeJS and package managers
•Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows and GitHub Actions
•Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
•Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation using tools such as Confluence
•Strong troubleshooting, debugging and web application optimization skills
•English proficiency: minimum B2 level
•Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
•Proactive mindset, attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
Nice to Have
•Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
•Knowledge of GraphQL
•Experience with Headless CMS (Content Management Systems)
•Experience optimizing web performance, particularly Core Web Vitals
Conditions
•Hybrid – Lisbon: 2 days in the office per week, on non-consecutive days; 3 days per week of remote work
•Winter period (October to May) – 43 hours/week: Monday to Thursday 09:00–19:00; Friday 09:00–17:00
•Summer period (June to September) – 39 hours/week: Monday to Thursday 09:00–18:00; Friday 09:00–17:00
•In addition to regular vacation days, 12 additional compensation days are provided at specific times of the year: 5 days between Christmas and New Year; 5 days during Easter; 2 days during Carnival
•Salary: €2,100–€2,400, including all components: fixed remuneration, variable remuneration, meal allowance, remote work allowance and benefits
