About the Role
The FP&A Controller plays a key role in supporting business performance through effective financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. Acting as a trusted partner to key stakeholders/department, the role provides meaningful insights, identifies and addresses risk and opportunities, and supports management in making sound, data-driven business decisions.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
•Coordinate budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
•Translate the financial impact of business decisions
•Support scenario planning and simulations to facilitate business decisions
•Monitor performance versus Budget/Forecast and identify key variances, risks and opportunities
Performance Management & Reporting
•Prepare and analyse monthly financial performance, including P&L, KPIs and key business drivers
•Develop management reports and presentations to support leadership decision-making
•Ensure high-quality and timely financial reporting
Teaming Up
•Work together with key stakeholders/departments to interpret financial data for planning purposes
•Support business teams in understanding the financial impact of key decisions
•Challenge status quo and seek creative solutions to persistent problems
•Support business cases, investment decisions and profitability analysis
Controlling & Financial Excellence
•Ensure strong financial discipline and compliance with internal processes and guidelines
•Support month-end closing activities in collaboration with accounting
•Monitor costs, investments and profitability to ensure alignment with business objectives
•Drive automation and simplification of financial reporting and analysis to the possible extent
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field
•3–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Controlling, Financial Analysis or Business Finance, preferably within a multinational/FMCG environment
•Strong understanding of P&L, budgeting, forecasting and performance management
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
•Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/reporting and BI tools is an advantage
•Fluent in English and Greek
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
