Role: Senior Financial Accountant
You will become part of a stable finance department of 6 members and will work closely with the chief accountant and other colleagues across the organization.
What will your contribution be?
You will ensure correct and timely bookkeeping of the company and participate in important accounting and financial processes within the international Wabtec group. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality of financial outputs, financial statements and audits.
Responsibilities
•Management and accounting of fixed assets
•Asset inventory
•Posting of internal accounting documents
•Monthly and annual financial closing operations
•Cooperation on internal and external audits
•Preparation of reporting documents within the group
•Checking the correctness of accounting processes and proposing improvements
•Cooperation with colleagues from finance, controlling and other departments
Requirements
•At least secondary education in economics
•At least 5 years of experience as a financial accountant
•Good knowledge of Czech accounting and tax regulations
•Experience with financial statements and audits
•Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
•English at least at A2 level for written communication
•Diligence, independence and a responsible approach to work
•Ability to find connections and come up with improvement suggestions
