Serrix is looking for a Finance & Operations Manager to support its next phase of growth.
Responsibilities
•Responsible for establishing a solid financial foundation, including financial control, reporting, closings, forecasting and insight into financial performance.
•Translate financial insights into actions for growth, margin improvement and performance as a sparring partner to the business and operations.
•Lead projects on professionalization, process optimization, automation and AI, qualification of new manufacturing partners (CMOs) and strengthening contract management.
•Responsible for Serrix's financial and operational organization and create the structure, insights and processes needed for further growth.
•Provide direction to Finance, Supply Chain and support processes and act as an important sparring partner to the management team for strategic and operational decisions.
•Responsible for the entire financial cycle and ensure control over Serrix's performance.
•Safeguard the quality of financial processes, reports and closings and be responsible for budgeting, forecasting and compliance, including VAT and ICP returns in several European countries.
•Through KPIs, dashboards and analyses, translate financial data into insights that contribute to better decision-making.
•Manage the Supply Chain Manager and work on improving supplier management, production processes, inventory management and cost prices.
•Contribute to optimizing COGS, strengthening contracts and increasing efficiency across the supply chain.
•Ensure that systems and processes support Serrix's growth.
•Bring structure to processes, capitalize on opportunities in automation and AI, and contribute to projects such as qualifying new manufacturing partners (CMOs), contract management and the further development of financial and operational systems.
Requirements

•Combines an eye for detail with the ability to see the bigger picture and knows how to translate financial insights into concrete improvements for the organization.
•Proactive, structured and pragmatic, and gets energy from building, improving and collaborating with different disciplines.
•Broad interest in the organization, affinity with operations and natural sense of ownership to further develop Finance and act as a sparring partner to the management team.
•Entrepreneurial finance professional who looks beyond the numbers alone, enjoys bringing structure to a growing organization and likes being close to the business.
•Combines financial acumen with a pragmatic approach and takes ownership of both day-to-day operations and Serrix's further development.
•A completed university degree in Finance, Accountancy, Controlling or a comparable field.
•Relevant work experience in Finance, preferably in a manufacturing, FMCG, healthcare or international environment.
•Experience with financial control, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
•Experience with financial processes related to inventory, production and/or supply chain.
•Experience independently managing and improving financial processes within a smaller organization.
•Experience with ERP systems.
•Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial insights into concrete actions.
•An entrepreneurial, pragmatic and hands-on mindset; spots opportunities and takes initiative.
•Experience managing or guiding colleagues in a financial or operational environment.
•Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
