Job Description
As Project Manager (all genders), you take independent responsibility for managing complex and strategically relevant customer projects with a broad technological scope and significant influence on our business results. You are responsible for successful, economic and on-time project execution while ensuring sustainable customer satisfaction. You lead an interdisciplinary project team in a matrix organization and work closely with areas such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Procurement, Finance and Legal.
Tasks
•Cost-, schedule- and quality-responsible leadership of complex and strategically important EPC customer projects
•Leading interdisciplinary project teams in an international matrix organization
•Leading project, management and toll-gate reviews
•Negotiating with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders at management level
•Managing complex technical, commercial and contractual project topics
•Responsibility for changes, claims, risks, opportunities as well as central project KPIs and financial targets
•Ensuring critical milestones, commissioning, acceptance testing and economic project goals
•Management reporting, escalation management as well as technical support for less experienced project managers
What You Bring
•Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical field
•Several years of solid experience in independently leading complex EPC customer projects, ideally in the area of BESS, Rail and/or Hydro
•Demonstrable experience in managing interdisciplinary project teams in a matrix organization
•Very good understanding of commercial, contractual and financial project contexts
•Experience in risk, change and claim management as well as managing demanding project KPIs
•Strong analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as high decision-making and escalation capability
•Confident demeanor, strong communication skills and negotiation skills with customers and stakeholders at management level
•Confident handling of MS Office and MS Project; SAP knowledge is an advantage
•Fluent German and English skills, written and spoken
•International willingness to travel and flexibility for project-related assignments
