The Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence at Nazarbayev University conducts AI research and supports innovation and collaboration across education, industry, and government in Kazakhstan.
What you will do
•Collect, clean, and preprocess data for machine learning projects.
•Develop, implement, tune, and evaluate machine and deep learning models.
•Implement algorithms from pseudocode using TensorFlow and PyTorch.
•Debug models and verify unit tests, numerical accuracy, and performance.
•Build tools and systems to automate deep learning model training and analysis.
•Consult Nazarbayev University faculty and respond to AI model requests from the industrial sector.
Requirements
•At least 3 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
•Higher professional education; a master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or an equivalent field is preferred.
•Background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Robotics, or an equivalent specialization.
•Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, AI algorithm and model development, and data preprocessing.
•Good programming skills, Linux development experience, and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Fluency in English, Kazakh, and Russian is required.
