Responsibilities
•Own problems end to end: frame questions with stakeholders, build models or experiments, ship them, and follow them into production
•Work backwards from the decision and assess the cost of getting it wrong
•Monitor live models, track drift, and manage retraining
•Communicate when campaigns, features, or rules do not work, including to senior stakeholders
•Support teammates' growth by setting standards for causal inference, reviewing their work, and sharing knowledge
Requirements
•Strong applied experience turning complex business questions into models or measurements, using causal inference, predictive models, or ranking models as appropriate
•Fluency in Python and SQL, and ability to work independently
•A track record of production models that changed decisions
•Sound statistical judgment and ability to quantify and communicate uncertainty
•Exceptional communication skills, including deriving requirements from stakeholders, driving discussions, and facilitating decisions
•Strong ownership and accountability
Nice to Have
•Experience building with agentic tooling such as MCP or agent frameworks, or automation platforms such as n8n
