Data Engineer / ETL | Microsoft Fabric
At Tecdata Engineering we are looking for a Data Engineer specialized in Microsoft Fabric to join a data engineering project focused on the development of ETL/ELT processes, integration of information sources, and construction of Lakehouse architectures.
We are looking for a technical profile with experience in data processing and transformation, capable of designing robust, scalable and efficient solutions, ensuring the quality, traceability and reliability of information.
🔧 What will your functions be?
•Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for the ingestion, transformation and loading of data.
•Implement ingestion processes from databases, APIs, files and other corporate information sources.
•Design and develop layered data architectures: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
•Implement incremental loads, historization, deduplication and reprocessing mechanisms.
•Develop transformation processes using Python, PySpark, Spark SQL and SQL.
•Work with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, OneLake, Notebooks, Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2 and Delta tables.
•Manage workspaces and maintain good organization and development practices in Microsoft Fabric.
•Design and maintain relational, analytical and semantic data models for Power BI.
•Integrate corporate sources via APIs and Data Gateway.
•Ensure data quality, traceability, monitoring and error management.
•Apply good practices of testing, documentation, version control and work with Git/GitHub.
•Analyze and relate information from technology, risk and cybersecurity environments.
🛠️ What are we looking for?
•Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering and ETL/ELT process development.
•Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent platforms based on Lakehouse architectures.
•Solid knowledge of Python, PySpark, Spark SQL and SQL.
•Experience handling structured and semi-structured data: JSON, CSV and XML.
•Experience integrating and consuming APIs.
•Knowledge of Lakehouse architectures and the Medallion approach: Bronze, Silver and Gold.
•Experience in relational and analytical data modeling.
•Use of Git/GitHub and controlled development methodologies.
•Knowledge of data quality, monitoring, traceability and error management.
•Experience or knowledge in semantic modeling for Power BI.
•Ability to understand and relate data from technology and cybersecurity environments.
