The need
As part of a program to strengthen its Data capabilities, a large international retail group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst specialized in Supply Chain to support its business teams in optimizing their processes and leveraging their data.
You will work at the heart of Supply Chain performance issues, with a key role in transforming data into levers for operational and strategic decision-making.
This mission offers the opportunity to work on varied Data topics, design high-value analytical solutions, and explore new use cases around generative AI and LLMs.
Main responsibilities
1. Data Analysis & Supply Chain Analytics
•Carry out ad hoc analyses to address the operational and strategic challenges of Supply Chain teams.
•Analyze complex data to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
•Define and track relevant KPIs to measure the performance of activities.
•Transform analytical results into concrete and actionable recommendations.
2. Development of Data & BI solutions
•Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
•Use Databricks and dbt to structure, transform, and model data.
•Develop robust data models suited to business needs.
•Design dashboards and visualization tools to facilitate decision-making.
•Promote the autonomy of business teams in using data.
3. Data & AI Innovation
•Explore opportunities offered by generative AI and LLMs to facilitate data analysis.
•Participate in the evaluation of innovative use cases: natural language data querying, analytical assistants, intelligent diagnostic tools.
•Study agentic AI approaches when they address a concrete business need.
•Contribute to the industrialization and adoption of developed solutions.
4. Business support & project management
•Gather, analyze, and challenge the needs of Supply Chain teams.
•Translate business issues into concrete Data solutions.
•Manage analytical topics end-to-end, from scoping to delivery.
•Collaborate with technical and operational teams in an Agile environment.
•Ensure clear and regular communication with stakeholders.
Desired profile
We are looking for an autonomous, business-oriented Senior Data Analyst with solid technical expertise, able to take charge of complex analytical topics and propose pragmatic solutions.
Expected technical skills:
•SQL: very good proficiency, essential.
•Databricks: solid experience in using and transforming data.
•dbt: proficiency in data modeling and transformations.
•Data Analysis: proven experience in performing complex ad hoc analyses.
•Data Modeling: strong skills in designing analytical models.
•Supply Chain: good understanding of business processes and performance indicators.
•Data Visualization / BI: experience designing dashboards (Tableau or equivalent tool).
•Generative AI / LLM: curiosity and ability to explore new use cases, a plus.
•English: operational professional level.
