About the role
The position is part of Insights, the statistical module of the Qore SaaS platform. The product enables users to analyze operational data, configure KPIs, create alerts, automate reporting, and generate forecasts and suggestions. The data platform already exists and uses Databricks, ETL pipelines in Python and/or SQL, a Star Schema dimensional model, and Power BI Semantic Models. The main objective is to evolve and optimize it and add new features.
Responsibilities
•Work with fact and dimension tables and evolve the data model
•Maintain and improve ETL pipelines in Databricks
•Develop and maintain Power BI Semantic Models and reports
•Develop and optimize DAX
•Analyze and improve Power BI performance
•Work with Data Governance, Security, and RLS
•Evolve the platform for KPIs, alerts, and notifications
•Investigate data and reporting issues
•Optimize existing solutions
Requirements
•Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a similar field
•Hands-on experience with Power BI
•Good knowledge of SQL
•Experience with data and semantic models
•Knowledge of Power BI performance and optimization
•Data Governance/Security knowledge or willingness to deepen your knowledge
•Data Visualization
