Description
You're employed by BrightStone Group and work in the Finance & Risk reporting organisation of a large Dutch bank. The team builds the data products that finance and risk reporting run on. Right now it has more issues and more changes than people, and the delivery dates are fixed. They want someone who can open the code and the data and sort it out, for four and a half months.
Tasks
•Build new and changed data functionality for several finance and risk use cases, in SQL and Python
•Check it against the requirements and acceptance criteria before it goes to release. If it doesn't meet them, it doesn't go
•When figures don't match, find out why, write it down and stay on it until the fix has been through the test cycle
Requirements
•A master's degree and data management experience in banking, ideally in Finance and Risk
•SQL and Python you write yourself
•Azure, Databricks, ADLS, PySpark and Airflow. Tell me honestly which of these you've used in production
•You understand what regulators ask of finance and risk data
•Good English. The CV goes in English
Nice to have
•Experience at a Dutch bank is a real plus
Conditions
•€6,900 to €7,800 gross a month, plus 8% holiday allowance
•Start is 16 November, two weeks away. A longer notice period probably rules you out
•It runs to 31 March 2027. Nobody has promised an extension, and your contract with us runs for the same period
•Employment with us only. The client does not take freelancers on this seat
•You live in the Netherlands and already have the right to work here. We can't sponsor a visa
