Responsibilities
•Understand, manage, and align customer needs and expectations
•Design BI solutions that support decision-making, including mock-ups, metrics, data visualizations, and dashboards
•Translate customer needs into clear business requirements for BI solutions, including analyses, interactive dashboards, and reports
•Collect, transform, model, and analyze data to generate actionable insights
•Evaluate and optimize existing BI solutions to improve effectiveness and performance
•Apply Data Management best practices to support data-driven work and sustainable, effective solutions
•Facilitate workshops and present insights clearly and confidently to diverse audiences
•Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, fostering trust and understanding
Requirements
•Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or a comparable field
•At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst or BI specialist, preferably in consulting and across different industries and domains
•Experience with data visualization, dashboarding, storytelling, and reporting tools
•Strong knowledge of at least one leading visualization tool: Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense
•Excellent SQL skills
•Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts such as Kimball and Data Vault
•Affinity with cloud platforms such as Azure and Agile environments
•Strong interest in technological solutions
•Effective communication with business and technically oriented stakeholders
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a strategic mindset, and attention to detail
•Ability to facilitate workshops and evaluate information objectively
•Adaptable, solution-oriented, and proactive
•Collaborative team player who enjoys knowledge-sharing in a dynamic environment
•Strong communication and storytelling skills
•Fluent in Dutch and English
