The Opportunity
At Flywire, we are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our global Finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our financial health by managing customer account reconciliations, identifying trends in account inquiries, and ensuring our AR processes run seamlessly. Working at the intersection of Finance and Customer Success, you will collaborate across modern platforms like NetSuite, Salesforce, and Zendesk to keep our operations running smoothly and compliantly.

You'll not only manage day-to-day accounts and month-end closes, but also act as a key problem solver—spotting process inefficiencies, proactively recommending solutions, and supporting robust SOX governance standards. Key Responsibilities
•Data Governance & Maintenance: Maintain the master database of customer details, making updates strictly in compliance with global governance standards.
•Account Reconciliation & Analysis: Support end-to-end account reconciliations by investigating credit memos, journal entries, and payment records.
•Reporting & Compliance: Generate detailed AR Aging and reconciliation reports; support month-end, quarter-end close activities, and SOX compliance reporting.
•Proactive Problem Solving: Conduct daily follow-ups on unresolved requests via Email, Slack, and Zendesk. Analyze customer data to spot common issues and propose actionable solutions.
Here's What We're Looking For
•2+ years of relevant experience in Billing, AR, or General Finance.
•Strong Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across internal teams and external stakeholders.
•Proactive Mindset: Ability to anticipate common questions or roadblocks and offer tailored solutions before issues escalate.
•Adaptable & Resilient: Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to navigate changing processes as Flywire continues to scale rapidly.
