What you will do
•Lead accounting operations and governance across Kazakhstan and the CIS region.
•Manage accounting teams covering payments, assets, general accounting, and tax.
•Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, reconciliations, financial statements, and statutory reporting.
•Manage tax filings, regulatory compliance, audits, and coordination with consultants and authorities.
•Strengthen internal controls, segregation of duties, risk management, and approval processes.
•Partner with Finance, Treasury, Operations, Procurement, Legal, and external stakeholders on regional finance matters.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•More than 6 years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
•Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
•Experience with multi-entity or regional operations and ERP/accounting systems.
•Strong leadership, analytical, process improvement, and stakeholder management skills.
•Good communication skills in English.
Nice to have
•Chief Accountant certification or an equivalent qualification.
