About the project
For one of the largest retail clients in Poland, we are looking for experienced Business-Systems Analysts to join a key project building a new checkout (POS) system.
Your tasks
•Analyzing current processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and to fit the new product to real user needs
•Conducting interviews with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand how processes work
•Consulting solutions with headquarters representatives regarding compliance with applicable procedures and identifying any discrepancies
•Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including use cases, end-to-end process maps and activity diagrams supporting system development
•Analyzing user tickets, pilot feedback, input from ambassadors and signals from day-to-day system use
•Verifying and updating process documentation and functional specifications
•Analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and prepare recommendations
•Identifying integration points and dependencies between system modules
•Analyzing the potential use of AI in business processes and IT systems, including defining requirements, use cases and success metrics
•Translating business requirements into a product backlog in the form of user stories
Who we are looking for
•Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, including on large-scale, complex projects
•Very good knowledge of business process analysis and modeling methods, including BPMN and UML
•Experience conducting workshops and interviews with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
•Understanding of how enterprise-class systems work and dependencies in application architecture and integrations between systems
•Ability to use analytical tools such as Amplitude, and use SQL for data analysis (knowledge of PostgreSQL will be an additional advantage)
•Experience using AI tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex)
•Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience leading refinements
•Understanding of system constraints, dependencies between modules and the impact of changes on business processes
•Ability to create clear functional and technical documentation
•High communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics in a way understandable to business
•English communication at a minimum of B2 level
