PHASIS Logistics is a Georgia-based logistics company focused on project cargo and freight forwarding across Georgia, the South Caucasus and Central Asia. We are looking for a commercially minded Business Development Manager to develop customer relationships and win business, with a particular focus on out-of-gauge (OOG), heavy-lift cargo, machinery and industrial equipment. You will work directly with the founder to shape PHASIS's commercial development. We welcome applications from sales professionals and logistics specialists with operational experience who are ready to take on a business development role.
Задачи
•Identify and secure new business with equipment importers, contractors, manufacturers and customers in construction, agriculture, energy and other industrial sectors.
•Build relationships with customers, understand their transport requirements and develop suitable logistics proposals.
•Develop opportunities for OOG, heavy-lift and project cargo movements, alongside associated freight forwarding services.
•Coordinate with transport providers, shipping lines and other partners to prepare competitive quotations and workable transport solutions.
•Manage enquiries, proposals, negotiations and follow-ups through to securing business.
•Maintain an organised sales pipeline and support a smooth handover from commercial discussions to shipment execution.
Требования
•Relevant experience in business development, sales, account management or logistics operations, ideally within transport or freight forwarding.
•Experience with OOG, heavy-lift or project cargo, whether through sales, planning or execution.
•Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the initiative to identify opportunities and follow them through.
•Professional working proficiency in Georgian, English and Russian.
•A valid driving licence and willingness to travel for customer, supplier and site visits.
•The ability to work independently and contribute to the development of a growing company.

•An understanding of the practical requirements of moving oversized cargo.
•Knowledge of route surveys, transport permits, police escorts, specialised trailers, loading or securing arrangements is a strong advantage.
•Familiarity with the Georgian and wider regional logistics market.
•An established professional network is an advantage.
