Business development manager in affiliate marketing

In short

Senior Business Development Manager role to build and scale the Catuik marketplace-publisher affiliate product across Europe from the ground up, working independently without a team for the first six months. The company is Mitgo, a global tech company building and nurturing online businesses, hiring for a hybrid role in Warsaw. The role demands proven B2B deal-closing experience, hands-on marketplace experience (seller or agency side), and fluent English, with weekly outreach and reporting targets.

About
Mitgo is a global tech company focused on delivering innovative solutions and promoting entrepreneurship. Our purpose is to build, invest in, and nurture online businesses. We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to strengthen the Catuik Product. Catuik connects marketplace sellers with publishers and creators who drive external traffic and earn commissions on completed orders.
Responsibilities
•Build Catuik's presence in Europe from the ground up. The model is already proven in other markets, and your mission is to validate and scale it across European marketplaces.
•Build the merchant pipeline: identify relevant sellers on European marketplaces, reach out to decision-makers, arrange meetings, and convert prospects into signed pilots. You'll own the process from first contact to agreement.
•Explore the market: help identify the most promising European marketplaces and assess where Catuik's model has the strongest potential.
•Drive outreach: establish a consistent pipeline of around 20 new merchant contacts per week.
•Negotiate pilot agreements: define and agree on pilot terms with merchants.
•Build publisher supply: source around 10 relevant publishers per pilot to support its launch.
•Validate the model: test the existing approach in European markets, identify what works, and recommend adaptations based on real market feedback.
•Track progress: provide a concise weekly progress report every Wednesday, covering outreach, pipeline development, key learnings, and next steps.
Requirements
•Proven experience sourcing and closing at least one B2B deal independently, without relying on a well-known brand name. You should be able to walk us through the deal and its results in numbers.
•Hands-on experience with at least one major European marketplace, either on the seller or agency side.
•Fluent English.
•Comfortable working independently, without a team, during the first six months.
Nice to have
•Polish is a plus; German and Russian are nice to have.
•Experience running your own e-commerce project, even if it is no longer active.
•Experience at Awin, Tradedoubler, a similar company, or a marketplace agency.
•An existing network of seller contacts in Poland and Germany.
Conditions
•Work in the international company.
•Hybrid working format (office/home office).
•Corporate education — courses and trainings.
•Voluntary health insurance after probation period.
•Effective onboarding program for a better start.
•Corporate events and team buildings.
