About the Team
The Platform - Cloud Events team validates and assesses data captured by devices using ML models running in the Cloud, and improves the model lifecycle. It works with product, technical program management, and partner engineering teams building edge software and interpreting sensor data.
Responsibilities
•Maintain code quality through code reviews and documentation
•Optimize machine learning operations with robust systems and cross-team collaboration
•Expand event pipeline capabilities to meet general and client-specific needs
•Reduce operating costs by optimizing cloud resource usage, especially GPUs
Requirements
•7+ Years of overall experience
•2+ Years building high-throughput backend services
•Professional experience with Golang and/or Python
•Experience with event streaming or message brokers such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar
•Distributed systems thinking
•Collaborative teammate and code reviewer
•Detail-oriented system designer
•BS in Computer Science or a related field
Nice to Have
•Professional experience with government technology
•ML Operations experience
•Familiarity with AWS-specific implementation of managed services
