Description
At Vortech, we continue to grow and are looking to bring on a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in .NET to work on a strategic billing project with one of our international clients in the software sector. We are looking for a profile clearly focused on backend, with solid experience in modern architectures, distributed systems, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
•6+ years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET (modern versions)
•Experience working with .NET 8/9 or recent stable versions
•Design and implementation of robust, scalable RESTful APIs
•Experience in distributed systems and asynchronous communication
•Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
•Experience working with SQL databases
•Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or Service Bus
•Unit testing with xUnit, NUnit, or other equivalent frameworks
•Experience with microservices
•Experience with hexagonal architecture
•Experience in Agile environments
Nice to have
•Knowledge of Angular (occasional collaboration on frontend tasks)
•Experience in Cloud environments (Azure preferred)
•Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles
•Experience in domain-driven design (DDD)
•Experience with SDD — Software Design Document
