Задачи
•Develop a deep understanding of the existing PHP monolithic codebase and progressively extract it into modular, service-oriented components
•Design, build, and maintain scalable, testable, and reusable backend services in PHP and Node.js
•Design and maintain robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs
•Lead refactoring efforts that improve performance, readability, and long-term maintainability of core systems
•Build, deploy, and operate services on AWS, including Lambda and API Gateway
•Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure reliability across releases
•Critically review, validate, and improve AI-generated code
•Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement across the platform
•Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly in writing and through short video walkthroughs
•Collaborate effectively across a remote, async-first, cross-timezone team
Требования
•5+ Years of professional backend engineering experience
•Expert-level PHP experience with enterprise-grade, production systems
•Strong backend experience with Node.js
•Hands-on experience refactoring or decomposing monolithic architectures into modular services
•Strong background in API design, including REST and GraphQL, and backend architecture
•Experience with AWS, particularly Lambda and serverless patterns
•Experience writing testable code and maintaining automated test suites
•Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or Cursor within VS Code or PhpStorm, including critically reviewing and refining AI-generated code
•Fluent English, written and spoken
•Highly proactive and self-directed, with the ability to communicate effectively and unblock yourself in a remote, async-first environment
