Responsibilities
•Build and maintain Lambda functions, ECS-hosted services, and REST APIs behind API Gateway using TypeScript
•Design asynchronous workflows with SNS and SQS for audit results, notifications, and external service integrations
•Manage Docker containers and deploy services via ECS/ECR, including task definitions and image lifecycles
•Design schemas, migrations, and queries across Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and optimize performance
•Contribute to AWS CDK stacks using TypeScript and develop Infrastructure as Code skills
Requirements
•At least 3 years of backend experience shipping production-ready Node.js services
•Strong server-side TypeScript skills, including clean, well-typed asynchronous code and scalable architecture
•Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, SQS/SNS, ECS, API Gateway, RDS, and DynamoDB
•Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
•Comfortable with distributed systems, asynchronous messaging, and complex integrations
•Proactive ownership, problem-solving, and pride in delivering work
•Based in and already legally authorized to work in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, or Portugal
Nice to have
•Curiosity about cloud infrastructure and AWS CDK with TypeScript
•Hands-on experience or familiarity with accessibility testing tools such as Lighthouse or Axe
