Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using Node.js and JavaScript, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
•Design and implement efficient database solutions, including schema design and query optimization
•Write clean, maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices
•Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions
•Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality
•Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a systematic and organized manner
•Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure application stability and reduce bugs
•Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
•Monitor application performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency
•Document code, APIs, and technical processes for team knowledge sharing and future reference
Requirements
•Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript with demonstrated experience building production-level applications
•Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
•Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL)
•Solid knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
•Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
•Familiarity with server-side frameworks and libraries (e.g., Express.js, Fastify)
•Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
•Proven ability to write organized, efficient, and well-documented code
Nice to have
•Experience with TypeScript for type-safe development
•Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
•Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker
•Experience with testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD)
•Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
•Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
•Knowledge of message queues and event streaming (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
•Experience with performance monitoring and logging tools
