In this role, as an Associate Product Developer in the Custom Development Professional Services team, you take on responsibility and develop tailor-made planning and scheduling solutions based on our APS platform together with your team in customer projects. AI is not an additional tool here, but an integral part of our software development — and of your personal development.
Your Tasks
•You develop customer-specific features in Python and work consistently AI-supported, from requirements analysis through implementation and testing to documentation.
•You work with agentic coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin AI and Cursor AI and use them not only for code suggestions but for independent tasks such as refactoring, test generation and code analysis in existing codebases.
•You critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability and security and take responsibility for the result.
•You contribute to the further development of planning algorithms and support the maintenance of existing customer solutions.
•You implement customizing in the project context.
•You actively bring your experience with AI workflows into the team, e.g. through shared prompts, project configurations or best practices.
Your Profile
•Completed studies in computer science, natural sciences or comparable training in the IT field, alternatively relevant practical experience.
•Solid knowledge of Python and object-oriented programming.
•Practical experience with AI-supported software development: you have already worked with LLM-based coding tools and can describe where they help you and where they don't.
•Curiosity about new AI developments and willingness to continuously adapt your way of working.
•You enjoy working in a team and in direct customer contact.
•Very good German and good English skills round off your profile.

We are looking for reinforcement in the Leipzig area. You work hybrid - at least two days on site at our office location in Leipzig (Martin-Luther-Ring 13).
