About the Role
Currently, we're looking for an AQA Engineer to join our team and work on a critical internal Payment Gateway project. In this role, you'll be involved in the full lifecycle of a feature - starting with manual testing and gradually moving it into automation as it stabilizes.
What we're looking for:
•Experience in manual functional testing of UI and REST web services: writing detailed test cases, executing requests, and API testing;
•Proven experience in API testing and automation using Python-based frameworks (Pytest, Requests) and tools like Postman;
•Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Behave / Cucumber) and Gherkin syntax;
•Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) and using results as release quality gates;
•Skilled at writing clear, concise, and accurate defect reports using Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
We're also open to candidates with a different language background (Java, JS/TS, etc.), if you're ready to switch to Python quickly, we'd like to hear from you.
