About the Role
At Microblink, we build technology that helps businesses verify identities and make digital interactions faster, easier, and more secure. Our mobile SDKs help businesses capture and extract information from identity cards, driver's licenses, passports, travel visas, and payment cards. Our technology is used across more than 20 industries, reaching over 100 million end-users worldwide. We're looking for a Mid-Level Android/iOS Developer who enjoys working across both mobile platforms and wants to build technology that other developers rely on.
Responsibilities
•Develop, maintain, and improve our native Android and iOS SDKs, used by developers and businesses around the world.
•Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, with a focus on performance, stability, and compatibility.
•Help design, document, and improve SDK APIs, making them intuitive and straightforward for other developers to integrate.
•Collaborate with mobile, C++, and Browser SDK engineers, as well as Product and QA teams, to deliver new features and improve existing solutions.
•Work with product teams and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
•Contribute to our React Native and Flutter integrations, helping ensure a consistent developer experience across platforms.
•Investigate technical challenges, troubleshoot performance issues, and improve SDK reliability.
•Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and decisions about architecture and developer experience.
•Help improve testing, automation, and release processes to make our development workflow more efficient.
•Contribute ideas for improving our engineering practices, tools, and ways of working.
Requirements
•Hands-on experience developing native Android and iOS applications using Kotlin and Swift. You should be comfortable working with both platforms, although we don't expect exactly the same depth of expertise in each.
•Familiarity with modern mobile development frameworks and tools, including Kotlin Coroutines, Flows, Jetpack Compose, UIKit and/or SwiftUI, and Swift async/await.
•A solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns, such as MVVM or similar approaches, along with lifecycle and memory management.
•Experience with Android Jetpack libraries and Apple's development ecosystem, including dependency management tools such as Gradle, Swift Package Manager, or CocoaPods.
•A good understanding of API design principles, including creating stable, maintainable, and well-documented interfaces, with backward compatibility and ease of integration in mind.
•An appreciation for clean, reusable code and an interest in building software components that other developers can easily work with.
•A collaborative mindset, good problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn, share knowledge, and contribute to the team.
Nice to Have
•Previous experience developing or maintaining mobile SDKs, libraries, or reusable software components.
•Familiarity with C++, Android NDK, or bridging native C++ code with Swift.
•Experience with React Native or Flutter, particularly developing or maintaining plugins and bridges between native and cross-platform code.
Conditions
•Become part of a global B2B SaaS identity company where your contributions truly make an impact - a high-performing, people-first culture that values growth, fosters learning, and rewards success.
•Enjoy flexible work arrangements - work remotely, hybrid, or from one of our offices, depending on your preference.
•Unlimited PTO to support work-life balance.
•Region-specific benefits tailored to your location.
•Equity.
