Responsibilities
•Develop MCP servers exposing SharePoint and Azure AI Search capabilities to AI agents
•Build SharePoint and Microsoft Graph ingestion pipelines for documents, emails, and attachments
•Design and implement RAG and agentic AI workflows using Azure OpenAI
•Deliver hybrid search solutions combining semantic and vector retrieval
•Implement secure, permission-aware access controls using Entra ID and OAuth
•Produce production-ready solutions, including testing, CI/CD, logging, and documentation
•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a junior engineer
Requirements
•Experience developing MCP servers and AI agent tooling
•Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, RAG, and prompt engineering
•Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Graph API
•Experience with hybrid semantic/vector search, enterprise API development, and document processing
•Experience with Azure Functions and/or Container Apps, Entra ID, OAuth/OIDC, CI/CD, testing, and production support
•Software engineering experience, ideally using Python and/or C#/.NET
