About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Agentforce is the future of AI.
The Experience
We are looking for a Tableau pre-sales professional to cover the Japan region.
•Solution expert for a world-leading platform in data visualization and analytics
•Work with prospects, existing customers, and various internal departments
•Trusted advisor to customers
•Provide technical support to customers evaluating Tableau
•Work with the internal sales team to drive adoption
•Present at large data and analytics conferences and events
We are looking for people who take on challenges proactively and excel at working across teams. Tableau encourages employees to use their strengths at work. Everyone is candid, and success is measured by what is achieved, not by the time spent. Our core values are trust, customer success, innovation, equality, and sustainability, and they guide everything we do, as a company and as individuals.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
•Become a trusted advisor to customers. Understand customers' business challenges and their data/analytics strategy. Identify the best solution for each customer. Support customers in achieving their business goals.
•As a Tableau Solution Engineer, help customers become more data-driven. Using Tableau Cloud, Tableau Next, and the latest solutions such as Salesforce Data 360 and Agentforce, propose the value of generating autonomous action from data.
•Quickly pick up technologies such as generative AI and present scenarios directly tied to customers' business process transformation.
•Provide customers with technical and solution advice on data utilization and analytics.
•Carry out pre-sales activities together with the internal direct sales team.
•Build outstanding customer relationships to drive Tableau adoption in your accounts and achieve customer success.
•Present at events such as Agentforce World Tour Tokyo, Tableau Conference, and major data/AI conferences.
•Troubleshoot technical issues and create content for demos and training workshops.

•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science (informatics) or a related field (e.g., science and engineering)
•Experienced: skills in building trust with customers and the ability to engage throughout the sales cycle.
•Highly technical: hands-on technical experience in some of the areas above.
