About the role
We work closely with the IT and business teams of the Pekao Group, supporting key technology initiatives. We work with experienced B2B contractors, offering them the opportunity to participate in large, long-term projects with a real impact on the development of banking in Poland. Here, ambition meets the energy to act, and technology makes a real difference. We are currently looking for a UX/UI Designer to join a project supporting the digitalization of the Bank's business processes and the development of modern corporate customer service systems.
Responsibilities
•Designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
•Creating intuitive and useful user experiences based on business needs and user expectations.
•Preparing wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
•Developing and maintaining a Design System that ensures consistency across product solutions.
•Collaborating with business analysts, product owners, and development teams.
•Participating in usability research and testing, and analyzing the results.
•Ensuring a high quality of user experience and that designs comply with accessibility principles (WCAG).
•Presenting and justifying proposed design solutions to project stakeholders.
•Contributing to the development of user experience design standards within the organization.
Requirements
•At least 4 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a related role.
•Experience designing digital applications, particularly web and mobile applications.
•Knowledge of User Centered Design principles and ability to apply them in practice.
•Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
•Experience creating mockups, prototypes, and interactive user journeys.
•Knowledge of usability and accessibility principles, including WCAG standards.
•Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
•Ability to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
•English communication skills at a level that allows working on projects.
•Creativity, an eye for aesthetics, and ability to present ideas.
•Ability to justify design decisions based on data, user needs, and business goals.
