UX Designer
We are looking for a UX designer who wants to join our team at Telia.
My name is Mattias Kirchhoff and I lead the team for customer insight and digital experience (Digital Data & Experience) at Telia. Right now I'm looking for a UX designer to strengthen my team, and maybe it's you I'm looking for. Our team works for Telia Business and is responsible for developing our self-service solutions, customer journeys, data enablement, and more.
What you will do:
As a UX designer at Telia, you will design new solutions that increase customer satisfaction for business customers' administrators and our business users. You will become part of a cross-disciplinary core team of around 10 people consisting of Data Engineers, UXers, CXers, and more. With us, you will work closely with both business and IT. We collaborate especially closely with the portal team.
•Work closely with developers, IT architects, product owners, and other stakeholders in the company to design good solutions and concepts with focus on the user and their needs.
•Map needs, user journeys, identify possible solutions and how they should be built.
•Plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests and user interviews.
•Create sketches and prototypes, and test them with our customers.
•Communicate the value of design and contribute design expertise to the rest of the company.
What will help you succeed in this role:
•We think you may have a bachelor's degree or similar within the design field and are already in your first job. Relevant experience can compensate for lacking education, but we expect you to have around 3-5 years of experience.
•You can handle complex processes in larger companies and collaborate well in cross-disciplinary teams.
•You have good experience with tools like Figma/FigJam and see the value of using real data to evaluate the effect of design.
•You are good with text and plain language, and see content design as an important part of the user experience.
•You have good communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
•Regardless of what you're working on, you have an understanding of design processes and good knowledge of universal design and WCAG.
