About the role
Would you like to join the leading company in the electricity sector as an Electrical Protections Engineering Technician?
Do you have experience in electrical protections and knowledge of control circuits in generation facilities?
Are you motivated to participate in installation, renewal, and maintenance projects for electrical protection systems?
What will you do?
You will be part of a technical team specialized in protection systems for Power Plants of different generation technologies: wind, photovoltaic, hydraulic, combined cycle and nuclear, in order to guarantee their reliability and safety.
You will provide support to establish design criteria and ensure proper maintenance of the equipment. To do this:
•You will collaborate in establishing electrical protection engineering criteria for installation or renewal projects of protection systems in Generation Plants.
•You will participate in the supervision of commissioning tests in installation and renewal projects of protections in generation facilities.
•You will provide support to the maintenance of Generation Plants by carrying out tests and evaluating the condition of the protection equipment of the Plants.
•You will provide support to plant personnel in resolving incidents at the Plants, through the analysis of events.
What are we looking for?
•Degree in Electrical Engineering.
•At least 3 years of professional experience in the area of Electrical Protections.
•Knowledge related to the logic of electrical control circuits of facilities.
•Experience and knowledge of national regulations and standards on protections is valued.
•Good handling of IT tools.
•Availability to travel.
•Driving license.
•English: B2 level or higher.
