Your Role
Are you ready to help shape the future? We are looking for creative minds, passionate designers, people who understand customers, attentive colleagues, and real team players. As a Production Supervisor (m/w/x) in optics, you ensure that everything runs smoothly and that production is completed on time and to top quality.
•You lead a team of around 15 employees in optics production and are responsible for a production area operating in 3-shift operation
•You support your employees in their development and ensure clear, appreciative communication within the team
•You ensure production that meets deadlines, quality standards, and cost requirements
•You monitor the production metrics of your area, initiate measures to stabilize them as needed, and have significant scope to further develop processes
•You analyze production workflows and identify potential for efficiency improvements
•You drive improvement measures in the spirit of Lean Management and continuous improvement
•You ensure smooth coordination of information and requirements between departments
Your Profile
•Completed technical or optical vocational training
•Master craftsman qualification or comparable further training is an advantage
•Several years of experience in industrial manufacturing, ideally in optics or precision mechanics
•Experience in leading employees
•Structured way of working as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
•Knowledge of Lean methods or continuous improvement is an advantage
