Your role
At ES Design in Solna we develop advanced systems for electronic signal reconnaissance and self-protection within air, land and maritime domains. As a systems engineer focused on IT security in the System Functions team, you get a key role in project, product and platform work — from early concept phases to integration and verification. You work closely with other systems engineers and hardware managers to develop the next generation of systems, including GlobalEye. You ensure that the systems maintain the highest possible performance with a robust and well-thought-out security solution. You collaborate broadly with colleagues in software development, product management and integration.
Your profile
You thrive with responsibility and broad collaboration, and have an analytical and quality-conscious approach. You are equally comfortable going deep into a subsystem as communicating cross-functionally with other departments. Contributing to an open and positive working climate is something you consider a given.
You need to have:
•Engineering degree, as upper secondary engineer, university engineer or master of science engineer
•A few years of experience with IT security solutions within product and software development
•Experience with system design focused on IT security
•Knowledge of security standards such as CIS, NIST or similar
•Good knowledge of Linux and experience with system virtualization
•Experience producing documentation for requirements and system design
•Experience with cross-functional collaboration and many points of contact
Advantageous:
•Experience hardening operating systems such as Linux or Windows
•Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability scanning
•Background from the defense or security industry
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the currently applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification placement, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
