THE WATCHMAKER OF WATCHMAKERS
Since 1833, driven by an unquenchable thirst for innovation and creativity, and inspired by the peaceful natural surroundings of its home in the Vallée de Joux, Jaeger-LeCoultre has been distinguished by its mastery of complications and the precision of its mechanisms. Known as the Watchmaker of Watchmakers, the Manufacture has expressed its relentlessly inventive spirit through the creation of more than 1,300 different calibres and the award of more than 400 patents. Harnessing 190 years of accumulated expertise, La Grande Maison's watchmakers design, produce, finish and ornament the most advanced and precise mechanisms, blending passion with centuries-old savoir-faire, linking the past to the future, timeless but always up with the times. With 180 skills brought together under one roof, the Manufacture creates fine timepieces that combine technical ingenuity with aesthetic beauty and a distinctively understated sophistication.
YOUR MISSION
For the Manufacture, the safety, comfort, hygiene and image of our employees rely on impeccable work clothing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). As part of the optimization of our processes, your mission will be to carry out an exhaustive assessment of on-site practices, conduct a comparative study of the best solutions on the market, and formulate concrete recommendations to rationalize our catalog of professional clothing.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Phase 1 – Mapping the current situation (Field & Diagnosis): Carry out a complete inventory of the work clothing and PPE used by workshop and job type. Conduct interviews with users, workshop managers, Quality and Safety. Analyze volumes, associated costs, and current management methods (stock, maintenance, renewal rules).
Phase 2 – Benchmarking the market and innovations: Study the offerings of leading suppliers and manufacturers in the professional textile and PPE market. Identify recent innovations (comfort, durability, safety, eco-design).
Phase 3 – Proposing a target catalog and strategy: Formalize a clear comparative matrix. Design a rationalized catalog that meets the dual challenge of safety and quality while respecting the Manufacture's standards. Write the roadmap and the plan of recommendations for future deployment.
HOW WILL YOU SUCCEED WITH US?
•Experience & Profile: Prior experience or immersion in a manufacturing industrial environment is strongly desired.
•Technical skills: Analytical and structured mindset, ease in processing numerical data (costs, volumes, stocks in Excel) and in creating decision matrices.
•Personal qualities: A hands-on person with excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable communicating with varied stakeholders (operators, workshop managers, buyers, HSE experts). Recognized for autonomy, rigor, and ability to synthesize information.
