Internship: 6-month internship in bacterial fermentation process development

About the role
As a process development intern in bacterial fermentation within our global drug substance bioprocess team, you will take part in the development and optimization of bacterial fermentation processes for the production of recombinant proteins.

Main responsibilities
•Participate in bibliographic and technological watch
•Take part in the development, comparison and use of biochemical and cellular analyses
•Contribute to the design and execution of bacterial fermentation experiments at different scales
•Collaborate on the interpretation and presentation of results
•Support the documentary follow-up of trials with protocols, reports and electronic laboratory notebook
•Be proactive in proposing continuous improvement actions for the team
•Participate in the installation and start-up of new equipment for screening bacterial fermentation parameters within the team's laboratory
About you
•Technical and interpersonal skills: rigor, curiosity, team spirit. Knowledge of recombinant protein production by bacterial fermentation, proficiency in erlenmeyer flask and bioreactor cultures
•Education: Master's degree (bac+5) in biology, biotechnology or engineering
•Languages: fluent English
