Role
As Senior Quality Control & Supplier Quality Specialist, you take on a central role in ensuring and advancing our supplier quality along the entire supply chain. You work closely with internal teams as well as international suppliers, identify quality risks at an early stage, and drive sustainable improvement measures.
Your contribution guarantees that our UAVs can be deployed reliably, precisely and powerfully worldwide – and thereby secures Quantum-Systems' leading technological position.
What is your Day to Day Mission
•Conducting incoming goods inspections as well as random outgoing goods checks based on technical drawings and specifications
•Building, maintaining and further developing inspection and documentation processes (digital & standardized)
•Creating, tracking and escalating complaints (8D, NCRs) in close coordination with suppliers
•Analyzing root causes as well as deriving and tracking sustainable corrective and preventive measures
•Developing and monitoring supplier KPIs to evaluate and improve performance
•Actively contributing to supplier development (e.g. audits, reviews, improvement programs)
•Close collaboration with purchasing, development and production for preventive quality assurance
What you bring to the team
•Completed technical training (e.g. aerospace, mechatronics, materials engineering, model making or similar)
•Several years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on supplier management / supplier quality
•Solid knowledge of complaint management (e.g. 8D), root cause analysis and quality methods (Core Tools)
•Experience handling technical drawings, specifications and inspection processes
•Strong quality awareness as well as a structured, independent way of working
•Strong communication skills and assertiveness when dealing with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
•Affinity for UAVs and aerospace technology an advantage
•Very good German and English skills
