About the Role
Welcome to ZEISS – a company that unites innovation and responsibility! Our Corporate divisions are diverse and contribute decisively to the strategic direction and sustainable success of the ZEISS Group.
As Senior Manager Real Estate Transactions & Projects, you steer complex national and international real estate mandates and drive site and portfolio developments forward. You manage end-to-end mandates, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and develop robust contract solutions in close coordination with Legal and Tax.
For site and portfolio decisions, you develop well-founded options for action and drive them through to decision and implementation. In M&A projects, you are responsible for real estate due diligence and advise the business on real-estate-related opportunities, risks, and action needs. You report to the Head of Transaction & Asset Management and align key mandate and decision matters with him.
Your Role
•You steer demanding real estate mandates in an international corporate real estate environment, combining strategic, transactional, and technical topics.
•As Senior Manager Real Estate Transactions & Projects you are responsible for national and international projects and transactions, site and portfolio developments, as well as real estate due diligence and business advisory in the M&A context.
•You lead projects, project bundles, and other mandates end-to-end, handle key issues yourself, and coordinate internal and external project participants. Together with the business, regional real estate units, and central functional areas, you align the mandates with business objectives.
•You develop target pictures, strategies, and decision bases for sites, cross-site topics, and selected assets. To do so, you conduct market, property, and feasibility analyses, assess opportunities and risks, and identify concrete implementation steps.
•You develop transaction and structuring options, engage brokers, consultants, and owners in a targeted manner, and prepare the options for decision-readiness. You conduct purchase and lease contract negotiations independently and in close coordination with Legal, Tax, and the responsible decision-makers.
•You prepare governance and decision-making processes in terms of content, work out the key decision points, and moderate the alignment. You lead interdisciplinary project teams functionally and project-related, ensuring quality and progress of the mandates.
•You further develop standards, processes, and tools in Transaction & Asset Management in a practice-oriented way and ensure a consistent and efficient approach.
