What you will do
•Take full technical ownership of the Billing domain, including architecture, quality, stability, releases, technical debt, payment infrastructure, subscription logic, and analytics.
•Develop and maintain Stripe and Solidgate integrations for checkout, recurring payments, webhooks, refunds, and payment issue troubleshooting.
•Build subscription logic covering renewals, upgrades, cancellations, refunds, and access management.
•Develop backend features with NestJS and TypeScript and payment flows with React and Next.js.
•Integrate Voluum, Google Analytics, Meta CAPI, Amplitude, external services, and APIs while ensuring accurate event tracking.
•Lead and mentor developers, establish development processes, make architectural decisions, review code, and collaborate with Product, Marketing, QA, Finance, Support, and payment providers.
Requirements
•5+ years of professional software development experience.
•Strong experience with NestJS, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
•Required: experience with payment systems and web payments, including subscriptions, webhooks, and recurring payments; Stripe, Solidgate, or similar experience is expected.
•Required: experience with marketing analytics and tracking platforms such as Voluum, Google Analytics/Ads, Meta, or similar.
•Required: technical leadership experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or informal team lead, including architectural decisions, code reviews, mentoring, and development process building.
•Experience designing backend systems and architecture; knowledge of PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Docker.
•Written English at B1 level or higher.
•Ownership mindset, practical process improvement skills, effective priority management, clear cross-functional communication, and attention to detail when handling payments and financial data.
Nice to have
•Experience with AWS, including ECS and RDS, and Datadog.
•Experience with affiliate and tracking platforms such as Affise, Everflow, AppMagic, or similar.
•Experience working with subscription-based products.
•People management experience, including 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and developer hiring.
•Experience building development processes from scratch in a small team.
