Shape the systems on which our bank makes millions of decisions every day. Account master data, transactions, interest, fees, products, terms and regulatory requirements: behind every banking transaction are central systems that must function reliably, precisely and at the highest quality.
In our Core, Accounts & Transactions department, we are responsible for more than 20 business-critical core banking systems and the data platforms that form the foundation of a leading Austrian banking group. Our systems manage account master data, process transactions, calculate interest and fees, and provide product and terms data for all sales channels.
Your Role
You analyze complex requirements, identify impacts across system boundaries, and develop viable solutions for a bank's core processes together with business stakeholders, architects and development teams.
You work at the interface between the business department, data, processes and technology, and take responsibility for topics with high business relevance.
Your Tasks
•Analysis, structuring and specification of complex business requirements
•Gathering and aligning requirements with business departments and stakeholders
•Creating functional concepts, user stories, data and process models
•Conducting impact and gap analyses across multiple core systems
•Further development of master data, transaction, product and billing systems
•Contributing to strategic transformation and modernization initiatives
•Supporting testing, acceptance and rollout activities
•Close collaboration with product owners, architects, developers and subject matter experts
Your Background
•Several years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer
•Solid knowledge of the banking or financial services environment
•Very good understanding of banking processes and core banking systems
•Knowledge of customer and account master data
•Understanding of payment transactions and transaction processing
•Experience with interest, fee, product and terms systems
•Good communication skills with business departments and IT teams in complex banking organizations
•Experience with complex data models and requirements engineering
•Experience with agile methods
•Fluent German skills (mandatory requirement)
•Strong analytical thinking and communication skills

•A competitive and performance-based salary depending on your professional and personal qualifications is guaranteed – the minimum salary for this position according to the IT collective agreement for 38.5 hours is EUR 76,216 gross per year. However, this is just a formality; we are happy to discuss your specific expectations with you personally.
