Responsibilities
•Own SIEM alerting end-to-end by shipping logs, writing and tuning detection rules, and reducing false positives
•Respond to security incidents by investigating, containing, and driving them to closure with clear runbooks, then feed recurring issues into preventive controls
•Administer the IdP and run end-to-end access recertification across IdP, SaaS, AWS, and internal tools
•Find over-permissive and stale access, enforce least privilege and PAM, identify SoD gaps, and make JML and third-party access work in practice
•Improve SaaS security posture and apply DLP controls to limit data leakage
•Maintain the endpoint stack, define device-posture requirements, and automate remediation
•Defend against phishing and spoofing through email gateway rules, DMARC/SPF/DKIM, phishing simulations, and security awareness; act on the results
•Build internal tooling and automate repetitive operations
•Own the roadmap for assigned areas, identify gaps, lead initiatives independently, and improve standards
Requirements
•5+ years in security operations, corporate/IT security, or endpoint engineering
•Strong SIEM skills, including detection engineering and incident response, plus experience with an identity provider, access recertification, least privilege, and PAM
•Working knowledge of endpoint security and email/phishing defense
•Practical experience securing internal AI use, including shadow AI discovery, DLP for AI tools, controls for AI assistants and agents, and risk frameworks for adopting new tools
•Strong scripting and automation skills; able to build tooling against APIs
•Track record of driving improvements end-to-end and leading initiatives with little oversight
•Clear written and spoken English for engineers and leadership
