SumUp

Security assurance specialist in fintech

In short

This role reviews and improves information security controls, audit findings and third-party risk at a fast-growing fintech, working with ISO 27001, PCI DSS and NIST frameworks. The team is small and global, spanning Europe, Brazil and Chile, and the job involves supporting audits, supplier reviews and stakeholder engagement across multiple regulatory environments. It demands prior experience in a GRC or security assurance role and strong communication skills. The position is based in SumUp's Berlin office, on an office-first setup.

•Support external and internal audits and due diligence requests, responding directly to auditors, clients and partners
•Track relevant laws, regulations and security standards, flagging gaps against SumUp's existing controls
•Help maintain and improve the team's security maturity picture, identifying priority areas and leading or supporting initiatives to close them
