# SAP ABAP Developer for Enterprise Solutions
Andersen is hiring a SAP ABAP Developer in the EU for a project implementing enterprise SAP solutions and optimizing business processes in cloud environments. We are Andersen, a globally operating software development company with strong growth in Germany.
Responsibilities
•Developing, enhancing and maintaining SAP backend solutions using ABAP
•Designing and implementing technical components based on functional requirements
•Working with standard SAP objects and custom developments (reports, interfaces, enhancements)
•Building and maintaining data models and services (e.g. CDS views, OData)
•Participating in integration activities between SAP and external systems
•Performing code optimization, debugging, and performance tuning
•Contributing to technical design discussions and solution architecture
•Collaborating with functional consultants and cross-functional teams
•Supporting testing, deployment, and maintenance activities across environments
Requirements
•Experience in SAP ABAP development for 4 years
•Strong knowledge of ABAP programming and core SAP development concepts
•Experience with enhancements, BAdIs, user-exits, and custom developments
•Familiarity with data modeling and service development (e.g. CDS, OData)
•Experience working with integration scenarios and interfaces
•Solid debugging and performance optimization skills
•Understanding of software development lifecycle and transport management
•Ability to read and implement functional specifications
•Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above
•Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above
•Understanding of modern SAP development approaches
