Where You Will Make a Difference
•Prepare periodic and annual financial statements for the company and affiliated companies, ensuring timely reporting to external users.
•Prepare tax returns, monitor tax legislation, and participate in tax procedures, audits, and other inspections.
•Participate in the preparation of business plans and financial projections for the company and affiliated companies.
•Book various types of business transactions and ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting records.
•Reconcile general ledger accounts, analyze discrepancies, and propose appropriate solutions to correct irregularities.
•Prepare payroll calculations, other payments, and related documentation in accordance with legislation and internal procedures.
•Ensure documentation and processes comply with SOX requirements and participate in control activities.
•Prepare financial analyses, participate in closing accounts, and support oversight of receivables and payables to business partners.
•Actively monitor changes in the field of finance and accounting and contribute to their implementation in company processes.
You Are the Right Candidate If
•You have at least 4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related financial functions.
•You have an education in economics, accounting, or another relevant business field.
•You actively use English at C1 level.
•You have excellent command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
•You have good knowledge of accounting processes, financial reporting, and tax legislation.
•You have experience preparing closing accounts and participating in audits.
•You work precisely, responsibly, and with a high level of professional integrity.
•You can effectively organize work, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
•You successfully collaborate with various business partners and stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
How You Will Stand Out
•Good knowledge of Slovenian Accounting Standards (SRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
•Experience with SAP and Oracle information systems is an advantage.
•Experience with SOX controls and managing compliance of financial processes.
