About
IDT Corporation's BOSS Revolution App provides international calling, mobile top-up, and money transfer services. The app supports IDT's mission of helping people stay connected and share resources with family and friends worldwide.
Responsibilities
•Develop and execute test cases and scenarios for the Calling App and services using different testing techniques and tools
•Evaluate expected functionality against specifications and requirements
•Identify system bottlenecks using troubleshooting, problem-solving, and reasoning skills
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration touchpoints and execute integration and end-to-end tests
•Work with developers to test features as part of a scrum team
•Develop test strategies and plans for features being implemented
•Support production releases and perform post-release testing
•Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
Requirements
•At least 2 years of experience in manual testing of mobile or backend applications
•Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques
•Strong knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Charles Proxy
•Strong troubleshooting skills, including checking application logs using monitoring tools, ADB, Android Studio, and XCode
•Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
•Strong understanding of iOS, Android, and OS-related guidelines
•Hands-on experience testing REST and/or SOAP APIs
•Flexible, organized, self-starting team player, comfortable working in an Agile development environment
•Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (B2 or higher)
Nice to have
•Automation experience with Java, Selenium, Appium, and RestAssured
•Telecom domain experience
•Performance testing with K6 or JMeter
