Responsibilities
•Test new features and fixes
•Plan and run happy-path, negative, edge-case, visual, and accessibility tests
•Verify changes in sandbox, development, and production environments
•Set up and smoke-test products inside major learning management systems
•File actionable defect reports with steps, expected and actual results, and technical evidence
•Confirm that each user role can perform the appropriate actions and nothing more
Requirements
•2+ years of manual QA experience on web applications
•Derive test cases from tickets and designs without being given a checklist
•Use browser DevTools daily to inspect console errors, network requests, status codes, and payloads
•Write clear defect reports that require no follow-up questions; experience with Linear, Jira, or similar tools
•Communicate clearly and directly in written and spoken English; raise blockers early and state plainly what was not tested
•Experience using AI tools for work, such as Codex or Claude
Nice to have
•Working knowledge of accessibility testing (WCAG, keyboard, screen readers, axe, or Lighthouse)
•Experience with LMS platforms (Canvas, Brightspace/D2L, Moodle, or Blackboard) or LTI integrations
•Testing AI/LLM products
•API testing with Postman or similar
•Exposure to test automation such as Playwright
