About the Role
Payward builds globally accessible financial infrastructure designed to advance an open, global financial system. Kraken is a crypto platform offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services to individual investors and institutional clients. The Pro team develops Kraken Pro's web and mobile trading experiences across spot and futures markets.
Responsibilities
•Own the global Kraken Pro onboarding experience, from the first landing through the client's first trade
•Assess the funnel, identify what works and what does not, and drive continuous UX improvements
•Develop a deep understanding of Pro customers, their needs during their first days, how to communicate with them, and what motivates them to trade
•Analyze onboarding data to identify friction points, drop-offs, and high-impact opportunities
•Design an onboarding experience that builds trust and guides clients with confidence
•Help clients reach their first trade faster and with greater conviction
•Partner with Design, Data, Engineering, and Marketing to turn insights into shipped improvements
•Use AI to identify funnel friction, predict drop-offs, personalize onboarding paths and messaging, and work faster
Requirements
•4+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record in onboarding, activation, or growth-oriented UX
•Strong product sense for user experience; able to identify friction, simplify complex flows, and design for trust and excitement
•Strong data fluency, including defining success metrics, analyzing funnels, and turning data into prioritized actions
•Excellent written and verbal communication; able to bring stakeholders along with clear narratives and numbers
•Customer-first mindset and genuine curiosity about users and what would motivate them to trade
•Fluent working with AI tools day to day to analyze data, personalize experiences, and work faster as a PM
•Passion for crypto and trading, with a strong belief in Kraken Pro's mission
