MEDvidi

product designer for AI-powered clinical tools

In short

Senior product designer role at MEDvidi, an AI-powered mental healthcare platform delivering psychiatric care in the US, owning design for AI-driven clinical tools end-to-end. The work centers on designing human-AI interaction patterns (verify/accept/edit/reject model outputs) for complex specialist work interfaces like EHR and admin panels, and building code-based prototypes with AI agents such as Claude Code or Cursor. Requires 6+ years of relevant product design experience, fluent Russian and advanced English, CET-compatible hours, and daily comfort working in a code editor rather than Figma-only handoffs. Fully remote, B2B collaboration contract.

About MEDvidi
MEDvidi is an AI-powered mental healthcare platform that combines licensed providers with proprietary AI tools to deliver psychiatric care in the United States. Its technology automates charting, follow-ups, and treatment planning to help providers focus on patient care while improving efficiency and clinical quality.
Responsibilities
•Own end-to-end product design for areas of the AI Track, from problem definition with the product manager through user analysis, collaboration with engineers, and build acceptance
•Design and iterate on human-AI interaction patterns that let providers verify, accept, edit, or reject model outputs, and make these patterns reusable across teams
•Validate design solutions with users when needed, conduct design acceptance with engineering, analyze post-release results, and apply learnings to the product
•Contribute reusable components, tokens, naming, and documentation to the design system through product initiatives, making them usable by designers and AI code-generation agents
•Independently gather requirements from providers, medical operations, and product managers, identify problems, and develop proposals
•Build functional prototypes in Claude Code or Cursor using the production codebase and components, and deliver them to engineering without redrawing
Requirements
•6+ years in product design focused on complex work interfaces such as EHR, admin panels, CRM, operational tools, or other systems used by specialists for their core work
•Demonstrable experience designing human-AI interactions where users verify, accept, edit, or reject model outputs
•Hands-on experience prototyping in code with AI agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent, using an existing component library or codebase
•Experience shipping reusable components, tokens, and documentation as part of product work
•Ability to independently gather requirements, identify problems, speak with users and stakeholders, and drive solutions to release without a mandated brief
•Advanced English (B2+) and fluent Russian
•Availability to work within CET-compatible hours
•This role is not suitable for candidates who need a detailed brief before starting, prefer managing people over hands-on design, or design exclusively in Figma and hand off static specifications; comfort with a code editor is a daily requirement
Nice to have
•Healthcare or telemedicine product experience, including knowledge of HIPAA and clinical compliance constraints
•Experience leading a design team's transition to AI tools
•Hands-on user research with specialist users, including usability testing and interviews with doctors, nurses, or clinical operators
Conditions
•Remote-first, fully remote long-term collaboration under a B2B model
•Competitive compensation package
•Health insurance after the probation period, plus sports and wellness compensation
•Personalized English lessons via Preply
•19 paid vacation days annually, 4 additional wellness days each year, and paid sick leave for the first 5 working days
•Thoughtful gifts for key life events and offline corporate events
