•Process dimensioning
•Production time schedules (if needed)
•Cleaning In Place Specs (flow rate, pressure, temperature, concentration and distributions)
•Layout (Matching process requirements: Process flow, drains, operation and safety requirements…)
•Calculation of product losses
•Preparation of flowcharts, block diagrams, P&ID's for basic and detailed engineering using 2D design tools available in GEA.
•Perform the Mass and energy balances in the process sold (if needed).
•Dimensioning of thermal and mechanical equipment (pumps, pipes, steam, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation…) for the non-sanitary and sanitary installations in LFF industry.
•Preparation of equipment and components list, where it includes technical specifications for other specialties (electrical, automation and mechanical design)
•Coordination with different areas (sales, procurement, external GEA offices and technological centers of competence, logistics, electrical and automation engineering, project management) for the manufacturing and installation plans of LFF projects.
•Review of Technical specifications and scope for procurement negotiation. Then, elaboration of Purchase Requisition (SAP platform).
